Sammy Bina is a no-longer-recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied English, Creative Writing, and Art History. Armed with big dreams and no actual plan, she moved away from the cheeseheads and now resides in Brooklyn, New York, where she is the literary assistant to Paul Fedorko and JL Stermer.
Previously, she has worked as a publicity intern for the University of Wisconsin Press, an acquisitions editor for Souvenirs Magazine, office manager and staff member of the Madison Review Literary Journal, and interned with the Elaine P. English Literary Agency. She’s also been a sandwich maker, receptionist, waitress, hostess, librarian, and barista. She won’t lie, she misses the free coffee.
She is currently querying her contemporary YA novel, DON’T MAKE A SCENE and simultaneously ticking off New York City tourist destinations and catching up on her TBR pile.
She tweets more than she should, blogs with some really talented ladies, and posts dumb things on tumblr.
